Depends on what about him we're yaying or naying about, I suppose; As an individual artist or as a collab with Dragonette?

Because honestly, I've only really skimmed his individual stuff. I only really know of him as a collab with Dragonette and because he's a really popular French DJ and my penpals have spoke of him.
So I guess from what I know of him, I'm a yayayay. But I don't think my opinion counts as strongly as others might ;)

I'll very likely get Smash when it is released here, but a bit nonplussed why Dragonette doesn't have writing credit with Boys & Girls. Not sure if the Wikipedia information is correct on that one.

Martin is quirky & cool, and love his video aesthetic (i.e. one long continuous take). But, I'm not sure if I'd want to see a concert of his without Dragonette, as I don't know his other material.

LOL!!:P

I'd say ya, he's alright. Honestly, I don't know much about the rest of his shit, but I like the stuff he did with Dragonette, and I like their video for Boys & Girls.

I picked up a copy of SMASH a little while ago, and the album's really terrific.

You can actually listen to most of it here: http://soundowl.com/track/11fy/martin-s ... nday-girl/

(Let's Not Play Games is actually one of my favourite songs to come out this year, and The Night Out is also pretty catchy.)
