Totally different mix compared to the album version and no Martina in the video.

Sadly I think this song will be overlooked due to its similarities with Hello. Should've released Can't Stop instead.

During the brief animated sequence, I was hoping we'd get animated likenesses of Tina, Dan, & Joel ... they should do some sort of anime video for an upcoming song!

I agree that BIJ is very similar to Hello, which may be a good thing or a bad thing ... I guess time will tell.

I really like the re-worked version. I think the album version was a bit too much like Hello, but the new version is a bit different and sounds like it could also be successful.

It's funny that the only SMASH video that has Tina is Ready 2 Go.

The Big In Japan single seems to be taking the internet by storm.

At least, it's becoming really popular on Tumblr. The only thing popping up under the Dragonette tag is this song. They might just have another hit!

Hopefully this means that the band will get the credit they deserve for making another great hit with Martin. I agree. I like the reworked version of Big in Japan. It detracts from any criticism that it and Hello are too similar :)

I LOVE this song!! The only part that sounds like Hello is the beginning and then it takes off......:-)
I am quite upset that once again, they are not in the video???? Why does Solveig insist on making dumb videos without the amazing person doing the singing?!?!

Video aside, I hope this is another hit for them......Dragonette deserve to be all over the place!!

Well, the video is really charming as usual, and Dragonette is busy in the UK finishing the new album, so I can imagine that they didn't exactly have enough time to appear in a music video.

it's a fun song, i really like it:)

i agree, it would have been nice to actually see Dragonette in the vid! I don't get why they aren't?! And same with the Hello vid?! Dragonette isn't in 'Animale' either, which is one of my fave songs! ...so, i guess that's just how it goes ya know.

I'm diggin Dragonette's vids (take it like a man, fixin to thrill, pick up the phone, easy, etc.) so i'll just try to be patient and wait on more;P
